StreamForex – is a Ukrainian company established in 2012. At the moment, the site operates in the CIS countries and actively attracts users from Russia, offering insurance, small deposits and fast order processing. As stated on the official resource, 90,000 active accounts have already been opened.
Let’s see if the service provider meets the stated requirements. And let’s draw our own conclusion: Forex broker Is StreamForex a scam or a serious organization?
Terms of trading with StreamForex
StreamForex offers 3 NDD (STP) accounts for independent forex trading:
- Cent – with a fixed spread of 2 pips and an order value of 0.1 lot or more.
- Classic – dollar account with a fixed spread of 2 pips and the value of the order from 0.01 lot.
- Professional – dollar account with a floating spread from 0.5 pips.
For the first two, the minimum volume of one order in 20 lots and floating leverage from 1:33 to 1:500 (depending on the amount of money in the account), for the last – the volume of 100 lots and leverage 1:33-1:200. In fact, the broker does not seek to limit the user, allowing him to both play cautiously and “drain” all his deposits. At the same time, in case of large losses a notification will come informing that the balance has come to a critical point and it is necessary to replenish it (Margin Call).
Important pointFor currency pairs USD/RUB and EUR/RUB a fixed leverage is set regardless of the account – 1 to 10. There is also a crypto account for trading with Bitcoin, Dash, Litecoin, EOS, Ethereum, NEO, Monero, Ripple and Zcash, and a training (free) account.
Those who have completed the training course and passed the exam (quiz) receive funds on the account and bonus points under the loyalty program. In addition, beginners can try themselves as investors, placing their currency in a variety of PAMM-accounts offered by the company – MMIR. Then trades will be handled by professional managers. Their trades will be copied in the investment account and profit/loss will be calculated based on the amount of order. For example, a trader placed $100 and you placed $200. If he earns 50% from the trade, he will get $50 and you will get $100. But in a situation of loss the manager loses his money and you lose yours. In other words, PAMM protects from swindlers, but does not guarantee a win. In total there are just over 60 assets: 45-50 (depending on account type) currency pairs and CDF (stocks, oil, gold, precious metals, etc.). In most cases there is no broker’s commission for a transaction. As stated on the website streamforex.ru, the average execution time on the platform is 0.1-1.2 seconds.
Streamforex.ru platform
StreamForex works on one trading platform: MetaTrader 4. This is the most popular software among brokers today. There are 3 main versions of trading terminals:
- to work on a PC;
- for iPhone/iPad;
- for Android;
MT4 is in the arsenal of almost every site for a reason: the terminal has a convenient multilanguage interface, high functionality (pending and instant orders, many tools for technical analysis: 30 indicators and oscillators, there is a possibility of automatic trading, support for all order types, transaction history, statistics, etc.) and multi-level account security system (encryption, verification). Client funds are kept on a segregated account and are insured. The service is free of charge. The liquidity provider is TopFX – a provider of the first level (primer), working under the MiFID directive.
Broker quotes
According to statements of clients (former and current), the quotes in StreamForex do not differ much from the market average, and therefore we can talk about their accuracy (Forex Trading Training). As we have already mentioned, there are the most popular currency pairs to choose from (EUR/USD, GBP/CAD, USD/CAD), as well as less frequent ones (USD/RUB, USD/NOK, NZD/SGD, etc.). Swaps are present and start at -33.17 for the rarest pairs. Commission is charged at the moment of transaction opening and is set only for cryptocurrency: it is 0.8% of the order size.
StreamForex Demo Account
To practice, beginning traders can open a free demo account from StreamForex on the MT4 terminal. It has the following conditions:
- Floating leverage from 1:33 to 1: 500.
- Floating spreads from 0.9 pips.
- Orders in the range of 0.01-100 lots.
- Bail in a 50% for one position.
- Margin Call at 40% assets.
- Stop Out at 20%.
Bidding is done with virtual currency, and it is impossible to lose anything. The balance, of course, does not even need to be replenished. In addition, in the process of training, the user is trained, the end of which is a quiz to check the performance. Three attempts are given, and if at least once you get the right number of points, the broker will credit bonuses (gifts). They will have to be worked out, though: make a certain number of trades with a certain lot.
Mobile application
To work from mobile devices (smartphones, tablets) there is a mobile application of the broker on MT4 platform. It can be downloaded and installed for free, if you have one of two operating systems – iOS or Android. To connect to StreamForex trading server and create/open an account, you need to select StreamCapital Group Ltd. in the list of brokers. The main functions of mobile:

- Statistics and history of all operations.
- Trading tools: quick-switch charts, sound notifications, color scheme settings, financial news, online chat, push notifications, etc.
- Technical analysis: 30-plus indicators and just over 20 trend objects (lines, channels, geometric shapes, Gann tools and more), 3 basic chart types (candlesticks, bars, line chart).
- Trade from anywhere in the world.

Bonuses at StreamForex
StreamCapital Group Ltd. (the owner of the StreamForex trademark) offers a wide bonus program.
Deposit Bonus
- Cashback on depositing a trading account:
- 10% with a deposit amount of 10 to 100 dollars.
- 15% (100-$200).
- 20% (200-$500).
- 30% ($500+).
Taking into account the time of crediting a bonus is made: +20% for deposit during 24 hours from the moment of registration, +15% for deposit within 48 hours and +10% for deposit within 72 hours. In total, the maximum bonus reaches 50% (but no more than $1000).
Important point: funds must be credited by a single payment, otherwise they will not be counted. And to be able to use the promotional money in the future, you need to make at least 20 transactions in an amount greater than 20% of the amount of accrual. Let’s say you deposited $10 and you were given 5. Then you need 20 trades with a total lot of $1 of 0.05 (if their value is equal).
Bonus for bringing a friend
If somebody you recommend registers on StreamForex, you’ll get $20 from each lot, 10% from their first deposit and $500 for the activation itself. He will also get +15% to each deposit and extra points in loyalty program.
Safe
Depositing funds into the special vault (secure single account) of StreamForex, you get up to 12% p.a. on your deposit. You can withdraw money from the safe deposit box 30 days after depositing.
In addition to the above, there is a loyalty program (accumulation of points for buying lots, getting preferred status and cashback based on your step in the rating) and contests (at the moment it is StreamForex Cup 2019, where 50 winners will share $4500).
Deposit and withdrawal
Deposits via broker’s services are available after passing the user verification procedure (verification). You will be asked to send scans of your ID (passport, driver’s license, ID-card), proof of address (e.g. utility bill) and proof of payment (statement from the card/account where the deposit was made).
Verification takes up to 3 banking days, after that the funds are credited to the trading account immediately (instantly), but a fee is charged: for bank cards – 3.5%, for WebMoney – 0.8%, for QIWI – 5%, for Yandex.Money – 5.5%. A bank transfer is subject to a penalty based on the specific financial institution – usually from 1% to 8%.
Important point: The money can be immediately deposited into an insurance account, from where it will be spent on transactions (orders) in the future. This is additional protection and at the same time savings: you get back up to 20% of the balance amount per year. One unpleasant thing: it is allowed to withdraw the money not earlier than a month after crediting.
To withdraw you must each time to specify a personal dynamic code you received at registration. Payment means are the same, only in some cases the commission is lower: for example, for bank cards is already 2.8% and not 3.5%. Also, depending on the amount of the first deposit and the date of its deposit may require additional verification (sending color scans of documents). We have covered this in detail in the “User Agreement” section. The service provider promises that it will not take more than 15 minutes to receive funds. The contract, however, specifies a different time frame: 5-10 business (banking) days.
Complaints about StreamForex
Traditionally, the main reason for complaints about the broker is problems with the withdrawal of funds. Traders claim that the company is postponing and blocking this possibility in every possible way.
Some users, however, honestly admit that they scalp, so the feedback from the operator is understandable. But notes the reluctance to make concessions.
There are those who are satisfied with StreamForex, they praise the platform and the quality of service, and, contrary to previous comments, tell about the lack of problems with the withdrawal of currencies.
And the most “satisfied customers” are, of course, in the feedback section of the official website of the service provider. Especially since the broker encourages newcomers who have been trained and offers them to leave a positive comment.

StreamForex broker regulator
On the site streamforex.ru It says that StreamCapital Group Ltd. is regulated by Labuan Financial Services Authority (Malaysia) and operates under its license number 22537 IBC 2015. However, in the FSA registry we found no confirmation of that: the company’s name is not in the list of organizations accredited by this licensee. Apparently, the broker is offshore.
Streamforex.ru User Agreement
Legal relations between the client and the broker are regulated by the “Agreement of public offer”, posted on the website streamforex.ru. Let’s note some of the provisions of the document. Thus, clause 2.1 states that in order to register in the system and open a trading account, the client must provide personal information and verify it. You can’t create multiple accounts for the same person. If this is discovered, you will be blocked and funds from your accounts will simply be requisitioned (taken away).
The owner of the trading account is responsible for confidentiality of personal information (including login and password). All operations made within the account are recognized as initiated by the trader. Losses (losses) caused by fraudsters, hackers, you will not be compensated (clause 2.7).
The so-called minimum volume of transactions is established – at least 0.1% of the withdrawal request amount should be received from trades. At default of this condition the broker charges the commission in size of 2% (item 3.11). In item 3.12 additional requirements to the application for a withdrawal of funds are designated. The trader should provide additional proof of identity in the following situations:
- Less than 30 calendar days have passed since the first deposit, the deposited amount does not exceed $500.
- Less than 180 calendar days have passed since the first deposit, the deposited amount exceeds $500.
- The processing center considers the possibility of withdrawal and sets the method. For bank cards a $45 fee for transaction processing is introduced.
The quotations you offer may differ from the market quotations – the broker leaves it at his discretion (clause 4.5).
Besides, StreamForex leaves itself “room to maneuver”: in case of violation of the agreement, non-market quotes, technical errors and inability of the company to support the client’s open position due to changes in the market the order is simply canceled or its result is reviewed (clause 4.15).
Spreads, SWAPs, margin and other requirements may be increased by a maximum of 50 times in the event of force majeure: changes in counterparty conditions, terrorist attacks in individual states, disasters, war/military actions (clause 4.24).
Client’s claims are considered in writing. The deadline for filing – no later than 3 calendar days from the date of the disputed situation (clause 6.1). Only claims transmitted via the interface, personal account, e-mail or online communicators are accepted (clause 6.2). The name, e-mail, account number, date, order number and essence of the claim must be specified (clause 6.3). Consideration – up to 10 working days (clause 6.4).
Is StreamForex a scam?
The first thing that catches your eye when evaluating a broker StreamForex – is the lack of a confirmed license. There are no links to the document or registry on the official website, and a search by document number and the name of the organization/service gives nothing. The conclusion suggests itself: StreamCapital Group Ltd. does not have a license to carry out brokerage activities.
Besides, the minimal amount of analytics and small basic spreads indirectly indicate a small financial portfolio, the lack of resources. At the same time the broker tries in every possible way to stimulate the clients to put their funds at his disposal: insurance accounts with the limit of 30 days for withdrawal, commissions for receiving payouts in case of an early claim or a small initial deposit, etc. And the company works only on one platform, the most common. We seriously suspect that StreamForex is a scam, although we cannot say for sure.
Conclusion
In favor of StreamForexIn our opinion, there are several factors:
- Interesting bonus program.
- Minimum deposit.
- Round-the-clock bidding on weekdays.
Coupled with this, you get the risk of being cheated, because the official permission to conduct brokerage activities, as we have already said, on the resources of the regulators are not found. And in the reviews, many traders complain about the problems with the withdrawal of funds. And the user agreement is written in such a way that, if necessary, to refer to a technical error (for which the service provider is not responsible), hacking by third parties (of course, through his fault) or force majeure. Whether it is worth the risk is up to you to decide. At the moment, we do not recommend StreamForex, especially if you are new to the world of Forex.
